MAWU at Marjory Smarth's fundraiser

We had the opportunity to perform for one of the most beautiful people in the world, Marjory Smarth. She is a very influential figure in the house dance scene, and a big inspiration to us. She's battling breast cancer right now, but will definitely beat it!

I'm glad we were able to take her mind off of it for a little bit, and do this fun tribute to her. We tried to emulate her style and choreography too!

House of Dangerkat - New York Fashion week FW 2010

Sorry I've been MIA! Been training a lot in dance, and last semester I took a millinery class that kicked my butt. I also learned how to sew! I'll put up some pictures in the next post.

MAWU @ Mop Top 20th Anniversary

MAWU was asked to perform at the Mop Top 20th anniversary. They are the pioneers of house and hip hop and house dance, and the people who taught and inspired us to get into these styles of dance. We were truly honored to participate in this historic show.

Nova Dando x House of Dangerkat in London

happy london fashion week!

I went to London to work with House of Dangerkat to promote Nova Dando's Rainbow Collection. We performed at the Hospital Club and opened up for La Roux, and we did a guerrilla fashion show for the people waiting in line to get into the PPQ show.

Update, no Step Up 3D for me

Ok, so my scene was deleted. I don't think the world was ready for it. I was supposed to be Sushi Waitress #1. The kids are at the restaurant, someone tips me, and then like at Coldstone Creamery, the restaurant does a song and dance. I was going to have a little solo, and then do some runway on top of the tables, and then we reveal Jonte', who is the Hostess. Then Javier Ninja, and Isaac, the sushi chefs do some voguing solos as well. Then we do a J-Setting routine, and teach it to the restaurant.

Would have been fierce! So much for my dance dream!


Too bad they cut the scene...didn't even hear the news until I ran into all of the dancers at Pop Burger. No call from Production, till a week later. Fortunately I live in NY, and didn't lose any money. Poor Isaac flew himself from LA and they didn't even tell him that rehearsal was cancelled. What bastards.
